A Stroll through Battersea Park

A time to admire the beauty around you...
A time to relax...
A time to reflect...
And reflect some more.
Enter into the Old English Garden...
Where you can admire the beauty, relax, reflect and...
Make new friends.

The squirrels were amazingly cute! They took food from my daughters hands so delicately and with such trust.

Such a beautiful place to be.

Photography #8 Chaffinch (Fringilla coelebs)

These shots were taken back in February on a cold wintery afternoon in Battersea.
At first glance I thought it was a robin, because of it's red breast, so you can imaging my surprise when I realized this was a new visitor to my feeder.
It had made a few attempts to perch on the bird feeder outside my second floor window, but sadly with no luck. Instead it sat in the silver birch tree, probably wondering how the other birds managed it.
After doing a little research I discovered it was a male Chaffinch. Poor thing must've been hungry.
Hopefully it managed to find a good meal elsewhere.

Photography #7 Yellow Asiatic Lily

Getting up close and personal with a lily is a truly beautiful experience.
I was amazed at how close I could get and the details captured are absolutely stunning!

These shots are unedited and taken using only the automatic setting on my camera.
